The PROSEC story is an extraordinary tale of many small ordinary miracles.

Miracles of my past I failed to recognize but now know in my present. By God's gift of grace, they come to life every so often in my quiet dreams and silent prayers. They are and always will be my memories of love I will treasure forever.

Indeed PROSEC came to be in my humble person unfolding truths that clearly define our mission to excel and our creed to create an identity for every person. As it challenges the mind by the beat of its heart, it stands proud proclaiming the generous Universe and glorifying the ever merciful God.

The first PROfessional SECretaries workshop was successfully conducted in June 1976. And that memorable beginning was the start of many more. The next better than the last. Nationwide and across Asia. Moving on through the years to greater heights. Reaching out to rich and poor; to young and old alike.

While the PROSEC story is mine to tell, it was authored by many other wonderful people.

I am devoted to the late Simoun "Moning"Almario who inspired me to be true and to stay focused on principles however difficult. He held me up from every painful fall and raised my hand for every glorious triumph. By my father's spirit, I continue to lead.

Equally, to Asuncion Almario who walked me through the drama of life deprived and allowed me to learn the lessons of poverty with much grace. She remains to be my constant reminder to give of myself without reserve and to be in prayer at all times. By my mother's love, I continue to motivate.

I am indebted to then President of Smith Bell & Co., the late Mr. Frederick Martin Coe, who gave me the wings to fly high, higher and highest. He made me the best secretary I could ever be by giving me the license to make mistakes. By my husband's memory, I continue to become.

I am grateful to blood relations, friends and mentors who saw my potential and helped fulfill my dreams.

Most of all, to our beloved clients who trusted and believed in me despite my comparative nothingness.

I have been truly blessed. While I have been hurt by betrayals of a few, I have been overjoyed by the loyalty of most. While I am troubled by the uncertainty of tomorrow, I am consoled by the clarity of today. In every gain and in every loss, I am made to see the guiding hand of the Supreme Trainer. For after all, it is He who gives and He alone who takes away for reasons of His own.

Today, I am joined by graduates with honors from prestigious schools. Together with a dedicated support staff, they make a formidable team. They now translate my ideas into a language other professionals can fully understand. A wish on bended knees fulfilled in His time.

After 30 years, 32 courses and patronage of 71 schools and 140 companies, the PROSEC story is no longer mine alone. It is for the PROSEC FAMILY now to tell. Together we continue to witness daily miracles in the persons of loving PROSEC seminar participants whose lives we have been so privileged to touch. In each of them who make up our love circle we experience our purpose and feed our soul within.

It is for our beloved patrons, students and professionals, that we will keep the PROSEC Flame burning. We invite you to light a candle for the coming of tomorrow and together make miracles happen.
